During summer hours we have a very busy schedule, and often check-in will not be available until 12pm. If you arrive before 12pm, please be prepared to wait. If you have refrigerator/ freezer items, please plan accordingly. We cannot allow you entry into a property before it’s ready to put your perishables away. Please note, houseboat rentals require additional time for check in, so please be prepared to be loaded before the detailed orientation of the houseboat begins. All guests are required to participate in the orientation. Expect 1.5-2 hours from the time of check-in until departure from the dock. Please come prepared with all your provisions. Any last-minute trips to the store to pick up forgotten items can add several hours to your estimated departure time and can cause you to spend the night at the dock. Any guests arriving later than 4pm during summer hours or 3pm during spring/fall hours cannot be guaranteed departure that day. At check in we will ask for a driver’s license and a credit card to be placed on file. Cash payments still require a credit card on file during your stay. The guest is responsible for paying for all gas used during the rental period. All of our boats come with standard life jackets, but if you are needing any additional life jackets for small children (under the age of 12), please let us know. It is the LAW that they wear a life jacket on any moving boat.
CHECK-OUT for HOUSEBOATS is at 10am CENTRAL TIME at the dock. You must be outside of the no wake zone before 10am waiting for an employee to come out and retrieve you. If the Marina helped tie you up or you need assistance getting back to the Marina, you will need let us know ahead of time and be ready for pick up no later than 8:00am, unless instructed otherwise by a Manager. WE DO NOT ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO DRIVE OUR HOUSEBOATS TO THE DOCK. Unless instructed otherwise by a Manager, you will be charged $50 dollars every 30 minutes past 10am for which you have not arrived at the dock. The guest is responsible for paying for all gas used during the rental period. Once your boat is docked and your party is offloaded, a Manager will a do a walk through with the person responsible for the reservation to evaluate the conditions the boat was returned in. At check-out we request that guests wash all dishes, take sheets off the beds used during your stay (leave mattress pads on beds), and place on the bed, turn off all electrical items, place trash in outside receptacles, clean refrigerator and cabinets completely, move all furniture back to original position and secure the hot tub cover. The need for excessive cleaning like washing dishes, trash pickup and clutter inside or outside will occur in a minimum charge of $100. If more extreme cleaning is needed there will be an excessive cleaning fee determined by the Marina General Manager. As all of our boats are SMOKE-FREE, there will be a $300 charge if we there is any proof or indication of smoking on board.
